What happens when the Swedes and the Japanese mash up their ideas? Crazy genius. Liking to the idea of quickly sketching up a 3D model, this takes it a step further by actually sketching a 3D object. The Swedish people over at Front using motion capture have developed a way where, with a pen, one can sketch an object in 3D space. This is then saved as a 3D file and then rendered via Rapid Prototyping. During Rapid Prototyping a laser shoots through liquid, hardening it to .1 millimeter precision creating an object in a matter of hours.
